TPPC Officers Meeting Minutes November 24, 2020
Present: Knowlton, Dwyer, Crane The meeting was called to order.
PARC – 12 Pickleball Courts Furniture/Equipment
Knowlton reported that Yost had requested a list of items needed for the new pickleball facility. Yost was to meet with Dwyer on Monday.
Furniture agreed upon includes:
1) three eight-foot tables with attached seating for the 3 shade areas 1) small tables and chairs to be located in each shade area
Equipment needed includes:
1) 12 ball holders, one for each court– Knowlton identified several types for Dwyer to review. Dwyer suggested 4 balls/court 1) 6 Paddle stands, one for each battery to hold paddles for events 1) Ball machine cart 1) Paddle sign material for the court numbers
Also, mentioned was the possibility of having only two planters (perhaps one at the entrance to the courts and the other at the far end of the batteries). This would free up more space for additional seating such as small tables with chairs.
Dwyer indicated that he would review with Yost: the brands of ball holders and having ball holders and court signs built by TPPC members.
With no further business the meeting was adjourned.
