BOD duties
Responsibilities of the TPPCI Board of Directors
President shall:
- Preside at all meetings of the membership and Board of Directors
- Appoint all Committees, Liaisons and Leaders
- Prepare agendas for meetings
- Be an ex-officio member of all Committees
- Fulfill other duties as assigned
Vice President shall:
- Assist the President
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by the President
Secretary shall:
- Record the minutes of meetings of the Club
- Post the list of nominees for Board of Directors at least one week prior to the annual election
- Prepare communication with Timber Pines (Friday Flash, monthly bulletin)
- Communicate with the membership as requested by a Director
- Fulfill other duties as assigned
Treasurer shall:
- Maintain the Club's financial records
- Maintain control over Club funds
- Prepare financial reports and budgets as requested by the President
- Maintain a current membership list
- Be the Liaison to the Finance Committee
- Submit a year-end financial report at the Annual Members' Meeting
- Fulfill other duties as assigned
Board Members shall:
- Elect from its Members a President, a Vice President, a Secretary and a Treasurer
- Authorize the President to appoint Committees
- Board members serve as liaisons to established committees
- Establish membership dues and schedule for payment
- Remove a Director from the Board for cause
- Direct the President to call a special meeting of the Club
- Authorize the Board President to have a calendar year audit
- Elect from its members a replacement of a vacated office
- Elect from the Club Membership a replacement of a vacated Director position to serve until the next Annual Meeting
