BOD duties


Responsibilities of the TPPCI Board of Directors

President shall:
  • Preside at all meetings of the membership and Board of Directors
  • Appoint all Committees, Liaisons and Leaders
  • Prepare agendas for meetings
  • Be an ex-officio member of all Committees
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned
Vice President shall:
  • Assist the President
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned by the President
Secretary shall:
  • Record the minutes of meetings of the Club
  • Post the list of nominees for Board of Directors at least one week prior to the annual election
  • Prepare communication with Timber Pines (Friday Flash, monthly bulletin)
  • Communicate with the membership as requested by a Director
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned
Treasurer shall:
  • Maintain the Club's financial records
  • Maintain control over Club funds
  • Prepare financial reports and budgets as requested by the President
  • Maintain a current membership list
  • Be the Liaison to the Finance Committee
  • Submit a year-end financial report at the Annual Members' Meeting
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned
Board Members shall:
  • Elect from its Members a President, a Vice President, a Secretary and a Treasurer
  • Authorize the President to appoint Committees
  • Board members serve as liaisons to established committees
  • Establish membership dues and schedule for payment
  • Remove a Director from the Board for cause
  • Direct the President to call a special meeting of the Club
  • Authorize the Board President to have a calendar year audit
  • Elect from its members a replacement of a vacated office
  • Elect from the Club Membership a replacement of a vacated Director position to serve until the next Annual Meeting
