TPPC Minutes of February 15, 2023
Call to Order. Meeting called to order at 1:00 pm on February 15, 2023, at the Country Club.
Proof of Notice. Notice placed in the PBall fix on Friday, November 10, 2023
Quorum. A quorum was present. Members present: Crane, Ellingson, Hunter, Knowlton, Kohlberg, Powers, Rocheleau. Approximately 2 dozen club members attended.
Minutes. Kohlberg moved, seconded by Rocheleau to approve the TPPC January 16, 2023, minutes as corrected. Motion passed.
Treasurer's Report. The following was reported by Powers:
-- Cash of $16,140.22
-- Year to Date Banking Summary and Cash Flow by Tag through 2/14/2023 was given to each board member.
-- Hunter moved, seconded by Kohlberg to approve Treasurer's Report. Motion passed.
Review and Approve 2023 Proposed By-Laws. Hunter presented additional changes to the By-laws. Some were suggestions from the committee and others from the membership. Hunter reported that her committee reviewed all member comments / suggestions regarding proposed by-law changes. Board discussion ensued. Rocheleau moved, seconded by Kohlberg to approve, with changes, the proposed 2023 by-laws. Motion passed.

New Business. None
President's remarks. Knowlton listed the ongoing events and work currently happening within the club. They included, CAN/AM Games, TPPC Memorial Event - to honor members who have passed, the Pickleball Bash, TPPC Gals Getaway in February 2024, and the annual member meeting on March 13, 2024. She also stated that TPPC is accepting nominations right now for board positions. There are two positions open. The Club welcomes members to submit their applications.
Q&A. Members asked questions and made comments regarding clarification of by-laws sections, the "Club to Club" event, the January tournament, balls during cold weather, using the lodge courts, common ground issues, first aid boxes, fixing the ball machine, more courts for NPU, and requesting new rolling nets for the lodge courts.

Adjourn Kohlberg moved to adjourn, second by Rocheleau. Motion passed. The meeting was adjourned at 3:00 pm.
