Pickleball Fix

by Bev Crane

Message to Membership: TPPC Annual Meeting on Monday, March 13 at 1pm in the PAC.

Two important items on the TPPC Agenda:

1. Election of two new TPPC Board Members

Terms of two current TPPC Board members (Crane and Ellingson) expire on March 13, 2023. Both Crane and Ellingson have decided not to run again so the members who attend the Annual Meeting will be voting for two (2) new Directors for the TPPC Board to take their places.

Reminder: Members interested in running for the two (2) open positions on the TPPC BOD, submit your bios to Pat Thayer, Chair of the Nominations Committee, by February 24. We encourage Club members to step forward to run for the 2 open board positions. Take an active role in YOUR Club.

2. BOD Meeting Agenda Item – Revision of TPPC By-Laws Inc.

The February TPPC BOD meeting was held on Wed. February 15 at 1pm in the Country Club Magnolia Room. All seven (7) Directors were present with 25 members also attending. TPPC Director Hunter provided a detailed review of the revised 2020 TPPC By-Laws. The BOD then voted to approve the 2023 TPPC BY-LAWS, INC which were sent out to the TPPC membership on Friday, Feb 17. These 2023 By-Laws will be voted on at the TPPC Annual Meeting on Mon., March 13 by those members attending the Annual Meeting at the PAC. Please plan to attend this important 2023 Annual Meeting.
