Committees

The 2022 TPPC Board met on Mar 28. Newly elected President Rooks laid out a 6-Committee framework for the Club. Each committee will have a Board member liaison, 3-5 committee members, and specific tasks they will be responsible for. Committee members will be looking for volunteers to help with individual duties of the committees and especially for special events like tournaments, cookouts and more.

Click the PDF link at the end of the Fix to open a list of committees and Bd. liaisons. If you are interested in helping with a specific committee, contact the committee liaison and/or use the Club email tppickleballclub@gmail.com. The Club always needs your help!

April Schedule

The April Schedule is now available for sign-up on the Den and each week is posted on Thurs. for the following week. The schedule will also be posted on the Courts bulletin board and here.

NOTE: Sign-up for instruction sessions is limited. Guests may not be signed up for Lessons (Mon) or Drills (Wed), or Beginner Play with Mentor which occurs on Tues 4-5:30pm and Thurs 11-12:30pm.

Also, Den sign-up is still required for all play so please make sure your name is on an event play list on the Den.

Donny’s Wednesday Night Pickleball

On Wed. April 6 Donny has planned a special Canada night at both the 3 and 5pm ABCD events.

Wear red and white when you come to play and taste some special Canadian snacks. Also, feel free to bring a favorite cocktail to share. BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR since the Pavilion is rented. There are still some spaces to sign up in the 5-7pm time on Den.

Safety First . . . Did you know?

Yet another injury at the court? No need to be embarrassed, but the Board takes safety seriously. There are first aid supplies available at the courts in the First Aid box for minor injuries and procedures to call 911 (and then security) for more serious injuries posted on the Courts Bulletin Board.

A WHEELCHAIR is available if the injured person doesn’t want medical treatment and needs help to the parking lot. The wheelchair is at the Pavilion and can be used to move an injured person to a car. Please return the wheelchair to the Pavilion after use. Remember, just like you don’t run by a pool, don’t drive your golf cart between the courts.

Keep on picklin’,
