Upcoming Events

Hernando County Special Olympics recently inquired if TPCA would be interested in coordinating a pickleball training program. TPCA turned the inquiry over to the TP Pickleball Club. PB Board President Don Rooks forwarded the inquiry to the Pickleball Board for comment. The Board is in favor and was eager to follow up.

Tom Asbel, Dave Dwyer, Don Rooks and Marie Knowlton have registered and tested to become certified coaches to train and mentor the athletes. A meeting has also taken place with Hernando County to work out the details. The training program is scheduled to run from August to early November with a once weekly training on Courts 11, 12.
