Break out your erasers, folks. I know you’re eagerly awaiting our mid-September scheduled Pickleball Club Board meeting. But, we have scheduling issues that force us to delay the meeting to October 4th, 3:00 pm, location TBA.
Pickleball Injuries
There will be a public service seminar, courtesy of TPCA, on “Pickleball Injuries in Older Adults & How to Prevent Them”. Wait, what? “Older Adults”? Who do they think they’re talking to? This ain’t The Villages! If you’re interested in strategies to help prevent injuries and accidents, come to the Wellness Center, Wednesday, Sep 27, 1:00-2:00pm, presented by Rehab Therapy Works. Windscreens
All the work we did to get those windscreens rolled up in prep for hurricane Idalia is being rewarded. The screens will remain rolled up thru the end of September. That means when the courts get wet, the wind will be free to blow unobstructed and assist in drying the surfaces.
ABCD Round Robin
Now that the summer heat is waning, Wednesday ABCD will be returning to its popular time of 5pmstarting next week, Sep 13. There is always a social with snacks after, so bring your favorite beverage and hang out after play. Come join your friends or meet new ones. This is a weekly event where you play at your own level.
