The TPPC invites you to celebrate at the Courts tomorrow Feb 25 from 11-4pm. Watch the Opening Ceremonies and ribbon-cutting at 11am. Learn more about your new Courts in tours of the area and enjoy demonstrations of pickleball events from 12-4pm. Bring your friends and neighbors and buy your lunch--a hotdog/burger, drink, chips--for charity while you are enjoying a fun time at the Courts!
Parking. Please use 25 golf cart spaces on the side of the Pavilion between the Wellness Center site, alongside the curb in the lot from the Pavilion to the pb entrance and in the grassy area at the north end of the Courts. Cars park in the main lot and in several spots in front of the Pavilion. Carpool if possible. Parking is limited.

Use of Court First Aid Supplies
The First Aid supplies, located in the wooden First Aid box at the Courts, are for use by members who need medical attention while they are at the courts. The TPPC provides medical supplies in a red bag titled First Aid inside the box.
To assist the Medical Supplies Committee, please make sure to do the following:
--When you remove supplies from the bag, replace them in the red bag, not just in the First Aid box.
--Write down what you used in the notebook in the bag so they can be replenished.
--Place everything that was removed, back in the wooden box.
This will help our Committee keep us all safe at the courts.
Court Protocol
Please keep the following in mind especially with the increased number of players and visitors now at the Courts:
--No eating or drinking in the court area.
--No chairs or benches in the court area.
--Return balls to ball holders; they will last longer.
--Construction area is off-limits--no parking or walking around the site.
--Parking is scarce. If possible, when playing together, park 2 golf carts in a space.
--Keep the gates closed, turn off the fans.
--Take out what you take in and regularly check lost and found.
--Throw empty bottles in trash receptacles.
--Dispose of broken pickleballs in identified wooden box.
NOTE: Make sure to remove your name from Den sign-up sheets if you decide to drop out after signing up for an event. This makes the space available on Den and allows sign-up by those who want to play. It also prevents having less than a full number at a given time slot. In many cases this is NOT happening. This is a courtesy to your fellow players!
Save the Date for the Annual Bill Schneider Member-Member Tournament
Put the Bill Schneider Member/Member Tournament on your calendar for March 11, 12 (Mixed, Men, Women’s). You will receive a flyer with all the details and sign-up information in a separate email early next week!
We are all here to have fun at the Courts, be safe, be kind and courteous, and enjoy each other’s company. A big thanks to all those who have worked hard to put together the TPPC 40th Anniversary Celebration tomorrow the 25th and to all the volunteers for the events. It couldn’t have happened without the Club working together!
Keep on picklin’
